Does anyone know the torque specs and sequence for the new MLM head gaskets. The one in my chilton is for the old gasket.

Thanks,

Dean.

20 foot pounds? i don't know about you, but i tightened my center most head nuts (i have ARP head studs, so they're not like the stock bolts) ones first to 80 foot pounds working outward. after that, i loosened them up, torqued them to 80 foot pounds again, loosened, and then torqued them to 80 foot pounds one last time in an outward pattern. i was guessing on the outward pattern, so far i get 180ish psi of compression in all 4 cylinders, so i guess it works well.

EDIT: oh man i posted like a crackhead. that's for the stock headgasket.

Yeah the lower torque specsare a good idea first run through so you seat the head against the gasket and slide into onto the guide pins. Then go through the proper torqueing.
