#50163, "I'm looking for confirmation or something of the sort................."

Ok, my 4th cylinder has no compression so I did a wet compression check still & no compression. So I fire up the engine and she's idling @ 8oo rpms. I removed the oil cap to see if there was smoke blowing by and exiting via pcv valve and oil filler cap. I had no smoke just vacuum wanting to pull my fingers inward of the fill hole, also the rpms once I removed the fill cap shot upwards to or around of 4ooo rpms. I am currently under the belief that it is my head that is damaged opposed the the bottom end internal, to be more specific my valves. I would like to know what you almighty guru's think, I haven't removed the head yet for lack of facilities and I want to have a better idea of whats going on before I start tinkering. Any help or opinions are appreciated all of the above stated is "my personal" analysis to this point.

Go with the MLS headgasket unless you want to rise compression with a thinner copper HG.

COuld be bent valves not seating, have to be pretty bad to get no compression. could be ring landings, holes in piston... basicaly you won't know until you tear the head off.

Well the damage was done with an 80shot wet on ik22 denso plugs, nology hot wires, and msd ignition tower. the plug was to hot for #1 and the I have everything amplifying the spark so I can "assume" it was a big bang. This is my "hope" that it's the head, I want some feedback on my diagnosis so I can stop staring at my stupid car everyday and go drive it. It's possible that it's the piston by I'm hoping it's not.

Unfortunately from your description I would guess it's the piston...

The only way to be sure it to stop stairing and yank the head off.
