#50085, "Removing Apexi N1 Silencer"

My Apexi N1 cat back just got delivered today and in the pic below I assume the thing sitting in there is the silencer? So what's the best way to take that thing out? I already took off an Alan bolt, but I can't pull the thing out emoji TIA

I have had mine in my HKS Hyper(basically same muffler)..i am about to take it out. I think giving it a little wd40 would do a little. Don't cut yourself, the thing is sharp. I am not sure how i am going to pull it out. Try and hook a tool in there and pull out. the allen key is the only thing that holds it there.

That can be kind of hard sometimes...see if this helps out at all...try putting your thumbs on the inside of the silencer, with your fingers on the outside, and slide them in opposite directions. I had a hard time getting mine off at first too, but I can't remember what I did...it seems like I sprayed some water on it or something...

Mine was a bitch to get out, I couldn't get it out at all tried prying it out wd40 all kinds of shit. Finally I gave up and we all left to go somewhere and I didn't put the bolt back in, I'm next to my friend at a red light and we starting revving joking around all of a sudden I hear a PHWOOMP type sound and clanking and my exhaust got a lot louder, the exhaust gas shot the bitch right out emoji
