I'm puttng my motor back together after replacing my head gasket, I need to know if i need to squish my lifters down before i put my cams back on or not. Any info is appreciated

THEY NEED OIL IN THEM OR THEY WILL BE LOUD.

Squish them down in motor oil and let them fill back up before you install them.

Such a technical explanation "squish" emoji some would use compress or even pump up the lifters... but I do like squish emoji
