What's your plan's with the car?
Turbo, Nitrous, both? All Motor high compression, turboed high compression, turbo low compression, nitrous high compression, stock compression? What mods do you already have?

First off the specs listed on Crowers site are wrong. The actual grinds are more aggressive then what is listed. They listed the specs before they produced the cams, and haven't changed the site yet.
Second both Crower and Crane can produce you custom spec cams.
Third stay away from Gude like the plague
For what grind to get, how is the ar going to be used? Mostly street with some drag runs,m mostly track running. all makes a difference, the more radical the grnd the harder the driveability.

I just want more power without spending a lot. My dad is a mechanic so I get free engine work. I'm not going to get a turbo or Nitrous anything like that. I just want more power without having a harsh idle or a problem with emissions. I have a UDP and that's about it. I'm not going to do anything to the engine until I can get exhaust intake and port and polish.

Does anyone have the actual specs for the Crower cams then?
I assume that the Crane cam grinds are what are posted. I am looking for a more radical grind that will give me good midrange power and not give up on the topend. I have a turbo of course and will have a basic stage 2 head with 1mm oversize valves. The rest of the head will be built as well.
Michael? anyone...
I also need a flow sheet on my head to find out what would be the best choice. I have not had mine flow tested as of yet. Anyone have some info to share with me to make an educated choice. If not, I will just have to wait till my head is finished before ordering some cams. I am not actually looking for custom grinds. Too much room for error and I would just rather live without the small gain I might get on the big end by going radical.
Who else is using aftermarket cams with their turbo setup?

I have the actual Crower Stage 2 Cam specs listed in the Advanced Tuning section. I'll see if I can get a hold of Brian crower again and see if he can get me the real specs for the rest of the grids.

Yeah i was looking at the Stage 3 #14 "split duration turbo grind" ones. I have a HRC stage 2, im taking a block to VT to be rebuilt and im going to do the headwork then drop this other motor in. I plan on running high comp pistons (actually probably 10.5:1 but thats higher than stock) and about 12 psi of boost. On the head Ill install some SS Valves and PT rockers / lifters, and the Crane cams. So do you guys think those Stage 3 #14 cams will be good? Sorry, dont mean to hijack your post, but this is along the same lines. But your all motor..
