1. I am getting three CEL codes when i have it checked. 2 of them i looked up and know what they are (P401 and P422). The third code is a U3 which noone seems to know what it is. Am doing something wrong to get this code or are we misreading the logger?

2. WHen switch gears and giving gas sometimes i get this gunshot noise from the exhuast. It only happenes when i press the accelerator and it sounds like little gunshots coming from the exhuast and will evenutally pick up. I changed my plugs and wires already but was wondering what else it could be.

TIA....

Sounds like a backfire to me, usually a good sign you are running rich. U2? hmm the only U2 I know of is a band not an engine code. But if you have the datalogger, doesn't it tell you the description of the code as well as the numeric designation?

I thought it was that. Any suggestions on what could be causing this? I do have a Cold Air Intake but no other air mods or any fuel mods for that matter.

Any check engine lights? The computer could be adjusting to the new amount of air if you just put the CAI on. Also signals from MAP or IAT or Coolant temp sensors could be causing more fuel to be put in...
