It says to put the silicon just in 5 places (everywhere there is a seam). I thought it was supposed to be evenly spread all over the gasket. Is this definitely right? If so, maybe it will fix my leaky vc. This is my third try on this. First try since I saw his writeup so I just want to be sure if this is what I have been doing wrong.
thanks
Luke

you only need to put RTV in the places in the write up. it won't hurt if you wanna put it on the whole gasket though.

Yeah, like ^^^^ said. Only needs to be in the seams (if anywhere). You don't need it all over because it is a rubber gasket. Good Luck.
