why would you have to remove the UDP to turbo? they're not mutually exclusive

not sure if im understanding you correctly... do you have the udp already? or are you planning on getting one?

if you have it now, and are going turbo.. keep it.. if you are unsure of getting it b/c will be going turbo.. get it.. emoji

either way, udp will have no adverse affects w/ or w/o the boost. as with most other supporting mods, you should see greater gains from the udp with boost.

^^what once was^^

^^what is now.. and permanently^^

some turbo guys take it off after going turbo because they were having problems running it AND the DFI. The DFI needs a constant 12V energy source and with the UDP underdriving the alt, it messed things up. Of course if you opt for the 8-injector set up over the DFI you wont have to worry about that

Does the voltage drop under 12 at high rpm w/ a af-x udp?

--- This was the problem that I thought I might run into... I dont have a UDP right now, but I was considering one, until I read into this happenin with the turbo guys... Maybe I asked this question in the wrong forum...

well at high rpms the UDP wont affect the voltage output of the altenator, just at idle.
