To reduce the temp and pressure on your system just take out the thermostat. Remove the little ballbearing thats connected to the thermostat and let the coolant flow. Good luck and have fun.

Actually, that isn't a very good idea with our cars because the computer will keep the car running rich until the engine is at operating temperature. If my memory serves me right, that temp is 150 degrees which is why using a 160 deg thermostat is helpful. Leaving the thermostat out can cause the coolant to stay below that temperature and thus cause the computer to not optimize the air/fuel mix.

Nah, what he's talking about is a little one-way valve - a hole blocked by a ball-bearing so that coolant can only flow out of the housing. Doesn't really make a difference if you remove it or not - if it faces the way i think it does, then it'll be open anytime there is pressure behind the thermostat, which is anytime the car is running.
If you want it to run cooler, buy a colder thermostat.
