Someone correct me if I'm wrong but...

When there is positive pressure the PCV (positive crank vaccum) the valve shuts, keeping oil from spewing out of your valve cover, but when there is negitive pressure, your engine needs to suck in air, and the valve opens and lets air in.

I learned this the hard way,
If you remove the pcv valve oil will get into your Intake mani, which in turn your going to start burning oil, thus, smoke will start spewing out out of your tailpipe untill all the oil is gone from the mani. Happens within 10-15 mins of driving.

What if u run both the openings on the valve cover to a catch can with a breather filter on it. Will it be ok then?

thats fine run both to a catch can, you just cant block them off
I would leave the PCV valve on and just run it to a catch can, but Ive seen many (N/A cars) with breather filters on each tube and have no problem

If you boosted your gonna get oil all over the engine bay.

Im going to do this I already bought the catch can. What Im going to do is plug the hole in the inatake mani and run the two openings of the valve cover to the catch can.

So if I'm turbo and I didn’t have anything to stop the oil it would just fill my catch can?

I already have the one over the #4 cylinder going to a catch can. Wouldn't I get the same amount of blow by out the other hole (PVC)?

I don’t have any real blow by off the one that is already going to the catch can. I think I get like a table spoon about once every three months.

Secondary question:

Does anyone know of a better PVC system? Preferably one that has either male or female 4AN inlet and outlets. I have been going through my car and replacing "all" vac lines and "all" fluid lines w/ AN fittings and steel braided lines.

cap off the inlet on the intake manifold and run a hose from the valve cover to your catch can, assuming the one you have has two inlets.

i believe this is how 992gnt has his setup.
