I have the two lines to the tank capped off with vacuum caps. I have had no problems and the car runs just the same as it did before I did it.

Yeah, I don't like my EGR system, so I took that out, didn't like the cat, so I took that out, and I don't like the evap system, and I want to take that out. Like MCubed said, what's the advantages of doing this?

yeah your doing nothing more than just spewing out more shit from your car.....there is no point to removing your evap system.....in fact it has zero effect on your engines performance...

Ok, that's cool, I won't take it out then.

Umm, what exactly does it do again, filter evaporating gas?

I only see one line running to the tank? am I missing something? I don't like it so its going in the trash simple as that, also cleans the remaing lines out of that side of the engine bay. It will also save a pound or two emoji
