1. Is the engine suppose to rev 200-400rpm when you turn the wheel at a stop?
2. When I brake to a stop the engine chugs, (200+ rpm loss) it almost stalled a few times. (Vacuum leak?)

1) i would assume so, mine does that, and ive never found it to be a problem. it could be somthing bad though, who knows?

2) MANY other people (including myself) seem to have this problem. the most common culprit is the ignition system. check the plugs and wires first, then move on to the coil. these components are at fault 90% (random guess) of the time. other then that it could be a clogged fuel filter, clogged cat, and a plethora of other small things. hell, i had this problem because i burnt a valve. it could be anything, and that is why a definitive solution is not available.

edit: forgot to add that #2 could also be a vacuum leak. ill let others respond on this aspect, however, because i have no experience in diagnosing this.
