do i need the cams in our head for the 2.4 conversion, do they fit? or is our head ok as it is. now that i have my crane springs and retainers i wont need em as ba thanks to lower rpms. and does any one know the stock compression ratio on the 2.4 aint it just a little less than ours? im using 24lb ford ms injectors also hopefully that will be sufficiant for now, its been down for about 5 months now and have changed my mind oh say, 5 times on what to build. sucks too since i keep buying the blocks and parts. have my shop about full now of pieces.lol someone really needs to build some brackets for this swap, im having spevco in winston salem make mine and keeping the blue prints when they are done so i can share, i havent even thought about exhaust yet i have none as of now, cant decide to turbo or not.then if i do if it will be custom or hrc. so manny choices. im tired of driving the beater. 84 nissan pickup beat all to hell, with black primer and a 3dollar spray can flame job

brackets and new oil pan are in the works just hold your horses +) hehe
the 2.4 wont have a lower redline because the ecu sees it as a 2.0 vitually..
the 2.0 head and 2.0 cams are just fine to start with eventually u want to go with some crane 22's or bigger to get maximum power out of it..
stock compression is about 9.6:1

most of this should already be posted search for posts by me and the1bill about the 2.4 swap
You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.
If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good. If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast. If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.
