#47694, "30lb. or 310cc Injectors on stock ECU?"

Okay, can the 310cc injectors be tuned with just the S-AFC by itself? without an adjustable FPR? Or is an Adjustable FPR needed?

Will the S-AFC be able to fool the ECU enough to keep the long term trim around 0? and not peg both long and short term trim to 25%?

You should be able to run 310's with no AFC or AFPR.

I can tune 440's with an AFC alone, though it is not necessarily the BEST way to go about it. However, my long AND short term fuel trims are close to 0 at idle.

check the turbo sect though. i asked a similar question about running 30lb'rs before installing the sfmu, but i do not have an safc. anyway, from the people that have done it, it seemed like it would run, but very rich and probably eventually kill the o2 sensor.

aren't you suppose run 30lb injectors with no AFC and just a 8:1 FMU disc?

30lb injectors with no SAFC, and a regular FMU with the 8:1 disk will "technically" work..the car will start, run, and drive...but it will be VERY rich. i know this from experience. it will smoke black pretty badly in boost(least the car we tried it on did). runs kinda rough part throttle driving also.

Except this isn't for a turbo app, where some form of fuel pressure regulator is included.

On stock fuel pressure regulator, will it work? Or does an adjustable pressure regulator need to be installed? Will the S-AFC allow the stock pressure and ECU to hold it.
