#47313, "Is a 28" glasspack/resonator too long for the car?"

I think i'm gonna get a pacesetter 2.5 catback, and I know they don't sound too pleasant, so I stopped by my local autozone today and asked about resonators/glasspacks.

Only glasspack they had for 2.5" piping was 28" long. Pretty cheap at 23 bucks, so i'm hoping it'll fit.

tia for any help. emoji

That's pushing it. If I remember correctly mine was 24 or so inches and it was hard to make it work.

If you happen to be missing a kitty, then it will fit fine in there. Keep in mind that the length is taken from end to end and the resonator can be cut down at least an inch from each end.

Shit is all apart. Typical...

Yup, I forgot about that. I had a hollow cat, not a missing one so it was a tough fit.

To get completely off the subject and also to be a PITA, Fast420A how's my intake coming. I'm trying to leave enough dough in my checking to pick up shipping for that thing and hopefully kick a few bucks your way too.

Shit is all apart. Typical...

Well Erik, my Big porting tool (cheap die grinder) stopped running so I am using the slow dremel method to finish out. The bottom half is ported and just needs a little clean up, I am still working on the top half. I'll email you some specifics.

Mine was just over 29" and fit behind the rear o2 sensor but they had to cut some shielding off the rear 90 turn of the stock exhaust.
