hey guys i just got my howell thermostat, The only one that was avail was the ones for the 95 model they are all the same right i have a 96 model.

Also guys when i took my oem thermostat out the lil gasket that go between the pipies where the thermostat goes they desinagrated. where can i get those?? anyone got part numbers for them.

I just replaced mine, you can get those at autozone.

oh yeah, they might have to be ordered which probably will take a day or two. Make sure you scrape off the old gasket so its flush, mine leaked when I didn't. I got extras if you want one.

Be careful buying that part at auto parts stores, most stock the wrong one. Take you old gasket with you or go directly to Satan. Make sure you use RTV sealant or that bitch will LEAK!

The problem is the old gasket is not there no more heheh that thing desintagrated.

so what do i do !!!?? damn

Just go to the dealership and get a gasket, it's only a few bucks. Tell then what you need and they can look it up.

The thermostat you get from howell with have a rubber gasket around the outer edge. get rid of it, that's the gasket for the Neon, not the Eclipse.
