ok guys my dad has this car eagle medallion..that lately for the past year has been having problems..
it will start and run perfectly until you turn off the engine..then it will not start ....it will start only after maybe 2 hours or so
can u guys help us out with some ideas on what could be wrong
the fuel pump works..the battery is good..the starter cranks the engine..we do have spark teh sensors are ok..
we ran out of options..can u help..

sounds like a simple bad battery to me. back when mine was dieing the same thing would happen. it would try to turn over but nothing would happen. i'd let it sit for 20 minutes and it would start. other than that, the only thing i can think of is heat issues. perhaps theres somthing expanding due to the heat that needs to constrict again in order for the car to start? for example: if the battery terminals are bad, they might expand juuuuuust enough with the heat of the engine tho produce enough resistance so that the battery cannot properly start the car. its a long shot, but possible.

Have the batt load tested. If it's fine, your starter "might" be getting heat soaked. I don't know the car well enough to know if it typically has a prob like that.

Shit is all apart. Typical...
