Like it says. When I start up in the morning it sounds like a deisel engine. It stops when it is fully warm or is quieter anyways. also when accelerating it sound like a v-tech only real quiet or if not doing that than sounds like a train. It is not loud though. It gets faster with your speed/rpm.

sounds like lifters to me, dont worry to much about them, unless they really annoy you... check the thread metal jim made about lifters

is that what is making it sound like a diesel engine when the negine is cold. It sounds like a wierd rattling or shaking of some kind.

Yeah my 1G talon did that before i rebuilt it a long time ago. Its a 4g63 but same basic idea. thats my best guess also. I would do a full tune up and change your fuel filter and o2 sensors. (or at least the front o2)
