I am replacing my motor with a built one that can handle some more boost. I was pondering the thought of running either a 2.2 or 2.4. What setup has had had the most sucess. Im looking for a fast everyday driver. I am running the star stage 2 @7psi. Any thoughts are apprecieated.

It depends upon your ability to do custom fabrication and wiring. The 2.2L will drop right in the same way the 2.0L came out.

The 2.4L will require modification to both wiring and probably some mounting of accessories etc. Not a simple drop in and go affair.

SO I guess you are saying to go wiht the 2.2 stroker. Will this motor give me some more bottom end torq? also will it still have the same redline?TIA

No, what I'm saying is, know yourself, yourlimitations, and your patients. If you have the ability and patients to do the 2.4L swap I say it's a good one. If not and you just want to do a simple motor swap (simple being a relative term) the 2.2L is the way to go, andyes it should give you some extra bottom end.
