Ok, I hope this is the right place to post this, if not sorry! My buddy has a 1994 Infinity G20 (SR20DE). The engine won't start, so I look at it, and figure out that the rotor on his distributor doesn't even move ... The distributor is attached to the far end of the exhaust cam, and I know the cams run off of a timing chain, plus I hear the starter whine, so I know there is still compression. So the cams should be turning, right? Then why not the rotor? Does anybody know what might be wrong??????????? Thanks for the help anyone might have!
