Ok, I hope this is the right place to post this, if not sorry!
My buddy has a 1994 Infinity G20 (SR20DE). The engine won't start, so I look at it, and figure out that the rotor on his distributor doesn't even move ...
The distributor is attached to the far end of the exhaust cam, and I know the cams run off of a timing chain, plus I hear the starter whine, so I know there is still compression. So the cams should be turning, right? Then why not the rotor?
Does anybody know what might be wrong???????????
