#46598, "sulpher smell"

as you know my poor baby has been off the road for awhile 6 months to be exact.. ive been running her at least 2-3 times a week and driving her around at least once a month. lately of course since the car is getting back on the road ive been driving it more ofter. to get her used to moving again.

last night i went to pick up my lady a few blocks away.. i gave her a little more rpms than usual ( i dont like over working it ie: anything over 3500k ) i hit around 4500k not for long at all. after that i began smelling the sulpher smell ? can this be deposits in the piping or is this a problem that i should look into ? shes going in the shop friday i just want to be mentally prepared lol thanks guys

No worries brother, they all smell like that. I don't know what causes it but we have been discussing that smell since the board was around.

I believe that is the cat functioning improperly. Maybe from lack of use or maybe from age. Depends on your situation and your driving habits.

^ Yup. If the smell continues, wave goodbye to your cat (any the money to buy a new one).

yes it is the cat. Your cat is clogged and now after sitting and then running again those deposits are coming out. Its not too expensive to have fixed at your local exaust shop. Or if you got a big bag of stones throw a test pipe on it! unless your all motor..

sulpher smell equals bad converter LOL

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi- colored uppers, downers, screamers,laughers... Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.
