This spring/summer I really want to hit a high 13. I am not going to be rebuilding until next winter so I need to do it on stock internals. Will I be able to hit them with my current setup running like a 85 shot? Is 85 safe on stock internals? Also, if that isn't a reality what would I need to get to get me there? Progressive controller, drag radials? Thanks

i believe the highest shot on stock internals is 75....otherwise your gonna start breaking things.

What are you running now?

I don't think a 75-85 shot of nitrous can get you into 13's, even with serious weight reduction and slicks. Our cars just weigh too much and have too low stock horsepower. Some of the stage 2 and 3 turbo guys on here can't even hit 13's yet, me included. (with the exception of Strauss of course!! )

Not sure what I am running now. I have to get to the track as soon as they open but I don't think I am being unreasonable when I say I would probably run a low 14 with what I have now. That's why I figured if I throw in a controller and some slicks I would be set but I don't know.

2 years ago i ran 14.2 with a 65 shot...
i didnt have any thing other then a muffler and a intake...
with a set of 20 inch tall slicks..
now with a built head and all the goodies 13.8 with a 50 shot?????
