ok the chilton's says it needs to be between 11.5-13.5k ohms. both of mine measured to be 15k ohms. is this good or bad. it says if its not in between 11.5-13.5k, then replace it. thnx

i don;t think it would be a good thing to have more resistance. definately replace your coil pack.

Would someone mind explaining the process of measuring the resistance -- i am a little confused -- and facing issues of wanting to test my coil pack -- how does this work -- anyone have pictures??

Stick one end of the probe in one end of the pack and the other probe at the other side of the pack, make sure your voltmeter is set to measure resistance.
