Anyone with a custom cat back can you tell me what i should do for the best sounding exhaust i can get? I had to sell the EVO to pay for body damage emoji and i dont want a custom exhaust that sounds like shit. My friend got one on his jetta and it sounds like a truck, i dont want that. What i wanna do is get 2 1/2" piping and some kind of muffler (probably off ebay unless you guys can recomend something better). I was thinking about adding a glasspack if it would help. Please help me out i have no clue what to do and i dont want a shitty sounding exhaust system. The tone i am looking for would be similar to the Greddy SP, deep and not real loud. Thanks for any input emoji

I recommend a resonator (or glasspack) in the intermediate pipe. Them pick a muffler to match what sound you are looking for. I generally don't like the big tip straght design mufflers. But find the sound you like.

Again, it depends on the sound you want. A 16' resonator will help to reduce the drone at highway speeds without really quieting down the exhaust. A long resonator will quiet it down further, depends on how loud you want it. You could be like Jason and have like... 4 feet collectively of resonator.
