I have around 40 to blow, and im torn between these two. I already have the B&M shifter, so im just wondering if it will make that much of a difference. TIA

If you are only choosing one Chris, get the Mount inserts. But you could probably get the inserts and a set of energy suspension bushings for the shift plate for the $40.

if u want mounts spend the extra and get the prothanes night and day difference vers the energy suspension ones, although that doesn't fit in your price range...

the energy suspension mounts will definatly give u more of a difference then the shifter kit..

i can probably set u up for both for justa tad above 40$ if your interested hit me back later today on AIM

Bill

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.

I was VERY impressed with the Symborski kit. No two ways about it, huge difference. The motor mounts didn't feel like much of a difference for me, though.

energy suspension MM inserts - ptuning.com $20
(best 20 bucks i've spent!) btw use banner link under the vendors section to get the 2gnt discount.

energy suspension shifter bushings - RRE $13(http://www.roadraceengineering.com/ecldrivetrain.htm)

the ES shifter bushings work in the same fashion as the metal version. i have these with a B&M short throw shifter and it is ROCK solid.

I have both and I think the motor mounts made more of a difference. I still get wheel hop in the rain sometimes and when Im launching at the track (stupid goodyears), but in all other situations I just get wheel spin, like when I shift from first to second when racing. The symborski kit didnt make too much of a difference, but I can tell its there. I havent missed a gear since I installed it though, so it works too. If it were me Id get the motor mounts first.
