I noticed tonight, with the car cool and all, that the coolant resovoir is ass dry. hrmmm... theres a full mark. and a min mark. i dont seem to reach either of those.

Is this a sign of overheating? Or does it not matter with the car not on..... I dunno. help me. I also notice theres a small puncture in resovoir that takes away pressure causing whats inside to boil...... back when somethig was in there. I think. Look i dont know much about this so....... help

IF there is a hole in the tank you MUST fix the hole or replace the tank. It is critical that the tank hold the proper amount of fluid to help cool your engine. Each time the engine gets hot(normal hot), when you shut down, the excess heat causes the anti freeze to kick over into the tank. When it cools down, the fluid is drawn back into the engine/radiator. If you have a hole in your tank, the fluid leaks out and is not replaced when it is needed inside the engine. YES, THAT could be the major cause of your overheating, not enough fluid in your engine to cool it and too much air in the system. I hope you have not hurt your engine running it like this.
Replace or fix the tank (best to replace it) and fill it up and check it out.

Do you think i've hurt my engine? The car gets almost 90% hot on the scale thing, but never hits H. Uh oh. I should fill it. YOu think im ok so far as long as i fill it? Thanks

I am not angry, I am just trying to stress the importance of fixing it the right way. Fix it and drive it. If it is ok, you will find out. If it is not, you will also find out.
