hehe, actually he still has issues...got me stumped for now.. Car will stall out on occasion, and if you start it, it starts then dies right away. Gives CEL for a idle control circuit malfunction (duh), but Sean replaced the IAC a few days ago..wierd. I'm thinking a fuel problem, so i dont know yet without more dianosing. I told him to check out the EGR tube, and to be sure no wires are melted on it(seen lots of that lately. So Sean, you find anyting with wrong with the wiring??

Fuel pump wiring sounds like it is to blame. I would check all of it from front to back.

yeah its strange. If you start the car, it just dies. BUT if you give it some gas, then it stays running fine. I wonder if its MAP sensor related...maybe the stock FPR.. I need to spend some more time on it. I only spent a few minutes with the relays. I'm still leaning towards a burned/melted IAC wire..

The odd culprit on something like that can also be coolant temp sensor.

But MAP and IAC sound suspicious... with a possible O2.

But definately check the fuel pump out.

While we are on the subject of relays how bout the fuel pump relay??

I had a Vlovo that would die in the middle of driving sometimes and the relay ended up causing the issue....

Just a thought!!

When my MAP sensor connector poped off my car would not idle, but would run if i gave it some gas. If i got the rpms up to about 3.5k the engine would sputter. definately check the map sensor voltage. then rock out with your cock out! emoji
