Sort of an informal review of Gatorback belts. I put mine on yesterday and boy do I feel a difference! My cars pulls harder than ever!!!
Just kidding. For real though, I have the afx UDP and have recently been having problems with my belts. Squealing when cold outside, and even when they were new they squealed when I had the wheel cranked all the way. Well I can already see an improvment. No start up squeal, no squeal when the wheel is cranked, and no squeal when I downshift from 4th to 2nd! The part numbers are the same for any goodyear belts, the PS belt is 4050500 and the alt. belt is 4040315. 43 bucks shipped from autozone.com, kinda pricey but id pay twice as much if they get rid of the squeal!

yeah i was having a problem with throwing belts when i shifted from 1st to 2nd, after throwing on some gatorback belts i haven't had any probs. my timing belt is also a gatorback, i think they are like $45 at autozone. and fasterGS if you had to order them from autozone you should have hit me up, i could have got them shipped to your door for half the price.

next time you need something, go the www.autozone.com and enter 87108 as you zip code, it will bring up the store on central ave. just check to see if that store normally stocks the part, if it does i can have it shipped to your door for about half the price that is listed, depending on weight. the only thing is they have to have the part in stock.
