#45040, "Question about fuel filter"

I just recently fixed a few problems that were causing some hesitation with the car, well what do you know i have another weird form of it coming on. It starts after drive the car for 20 miles or so, starts off slowly but by the end the car is hesitating pretty badly. This occurs when the car is running between 60-80mph. I just changed my gas tank out and im thinking that the fuel filter could be semi clogged causing low fuel pressure after driving for a while. The car runs fine under sixty, and after 4k rpms, anyone have a clue?

kink in fuel line? i wud swap the filter just incase, its cheep and easy to do if your 97+ and the filter is on the rear pass side in front of the rear tire..

It could be a clogged fuel filter. On the 95-96, it's under the windshield washer resivior. You have to remove the battery, and move the brake master cylinder and washer resevior out of the way to get to it.

Actually, the '96 is like the '97+ in regards to fuel filter location and OBD-2 compliance.
