#45027, "Another (but different) Question on Howell"
I think that I am going to order the bottem end kit. I'm going to get the 10.5 pistons. I dont know much about engines, what does the bore/main bearing/rod bearing size mean? I dont want anything really fast, I just want a built engine that runs strong. I already ordered a Gude Head Kit, do you think that they will work together fine? By the way, this isnt a race car or anything, its bagged so I cant go to fast.

Bore is stock size or oversized (.020" overbore), which is the diameter of the pistons. When doing I rebuild I say go with .020" over to clean and ensure round cylinder walls, for proper seal with rings.
Crank bearing(main or rod) depend on if the crank is messed up or not, usually a quick polish up of the crank and you're good to go with standard bearing, you may need undersize bearings (.010" under) if you need to machine the crank due to damage.
