I have the Bomex rear which requires Dual Exhaust, I want to get duals but dont want to spend 48237429.00 on the full catback system. Well I came across this one and its not a bad price, but i am wondering,

here is a pic of the exhaust: http://www.carparts.com/parts/newsearch2.asp?reflink=0-0-0-0-0&sourceid=2&parttypeid=3042&itemid=10871&autoidsearch=YES

1: Will it make my 97 5 spd GS any louder or deeper?
2: How many ponies can i get outta this?
3: I know i will lose some back pressure, but not a lot. But exactly how much? Enough to where it can F up something?
4: Or would it just be cheaper to get to mufflers that will fit, and have a shop make some custom bent piping through there connecting the the 2 mufflers?
5: Concerning the Resognator, keep it on? take it off ?

I don't think they make a bolt up dual exhaust for our cars. You will probably have to go get a custom exhaust made at a muffler shop.

Is this the one you are talking about? Well it says that it's dual and $236.43 is a really good price for a cat-back. Do a little research and if all checks out, I say get it!

yeah that is the one i am talking about, and i typed in the year, make and model of my car and these categories came up and that was in the cat back exhaust section. So you would think it would fit..

Well if anyone can help me out by answering my questions it would be much appreciated! emoji I am just anxious to get an exhaust and that is a great deal and i wanted to know if it would do what i asked.. thanks,

^^^ agreed. our exhaust exits on the driver side so the pipe would be coming down the left side of the picture not the right.

the only way to do this is to buy 2 mufflers and have a custom job done. it's usually done by Y'ing off the main pipe and running to the second muff.

i wouldn't say you NEED dual exhaust for the bomex rear. you could just get one of those dual tip muffs and make sure the tips is flush with the underside of the bumper so you can't really see it. if you're lowered at all it wouldn't be noticeable.

thanks beefgg for the sig
