#4497, "Radiator Fan Help Needed"

Hey guys,
I drive a 98 GS 420A engine, my left fan(if standing in front of car) isnt working and I am not sure if it ever has. Is that fan(the one on the exhaust/downpipe side) supposed to work on and off like the right fan? Or just used incase the heat rises quite a bit? I hooked up some electric wire from my battery to the wires on the fan and it started right up so I know the fan and motor is good.... Any thoughts? I checked all the fuses in the fusebox in the engine bay, all fine... If you can help me out at all, let me know via email @ brickardius@aol.com . Thanks!

Turn on your A/C and then check it. It runs with the air conditioner. Hope this helps.

OK now I'm really confused!
My rad fan is on the left and A/C fan is on the right. I have a 96 GS 420A. Is my car wrong? maybe that's why i'm always over-heating.. emoji
