Ive noticed that many of us have hesitation problems and no one can seem to figure out what the problem is. Ive spoken to many different people including Mitsubishi on several occations, which leads me to where i am now; i still have a problem, im going to list everthing ive done and changed and i hope that everyone else can add to the list. This seems to be a big problem with the 95's and im sure everyone else has had the problem some time or another. The first thing i always see when i post as suggestions are plugs and wires, these can be ruled out in my case as well as others. Ive replaced them several different times with nothing happening. Here is my list Head gasket timing belt valve job iac motor bored throttle body(more air=good) intake air temp sensor new intake new filter spark plug well seals plugs wires coil pack front o2 sensor battery pcv valve fuel filter fuel pump gas tank muffler all major gaskets I might have left a few things out but what im getting at is that no one can seem to find my problem. After replacing my gas tank, which is the newest thing to be replaced the car ran fine. A few days later my CEL came on and read 21, o2 sensor. The car started to hesitate once more and has now gotten worse. Tomorrow im ripping the entire exhaust off and cleaning the o2 sensors as well as clearing my cat. Please do not tell me to check the plugs and wires again because its been done. I really need someone who can break it down for me and tell me specific things that i need to check/do. Like i said before, add to my list and explain your problems so that we can wipe out this problem together..and maybe get mitsubishi to make it a recall TIA

Dope it do this all the time. cause mine will only do it if it cold (the engine) or relly cold outside like 10 or less. But I do notice sometimes that the car will not go as fast as it can, meaning accelerate, unless I kind of force it to, by masshing the gas several times. also sometimes it will accel. slowly at first then for no reason on my behalf, just kickin to high gear I geuss is the best way to put it. I have an auto though.

I'm a victim of hesitation too. However it hasnt done it since about 1 month. I've replaced wires, plugs, pcv valve, fuel filter and it didnt help at the time. I think it has to do with clogged injectors or build up in the intake. I bought a $10 bottle of fuel injector cleaner a month ago and it's been fine since then. (knock on wood) My car used to get so bad that you couldn't start it unless you pushed the gas pedal at the same time. Now it seems to be fine, but i know it will come back. hope this helps,

Well i found my problem tonight. I had a loose wire on my front o2 sensor, i put it back together and now its running better than it was. Im going for a spin on the interstate, i'll keep you up to date.
