Looking over my war-torn engine, i'm trying to figure out what I need. Every single bolt/stud on the BOTTOM of my exhuast mani is broken or missing. I don't know which is a stud, and which is a bolt. However, I would like to, if possible, go with all studs. Is this possible? I think all four on the bottom are bolts. I've heard studs last longer. Thanks for the quick help emoji

STAR kit?

If so, you need at least one stud for that pesky hole directly under the exhaust outlet for the turbo.

regular 8mm studs will work - the higher rated, the better.

Can't find them on RRE's site anywhere, but this is what i come up with by stealing the VIN off a 1999 GS-T and running CAPS:

MD041192- Washer, exhaust manif plain 8
MD005317- Stud, cylinder head 8x28
MR212302- Nut, exhuast manifold flange, 8

I had the option of 8 or 10 on all 3 items, and i'm guessing i choose 8 on all 3 of them. Thanks for your help, just don't want to "screw" anything up.

Thanks for the idea w/ the 8mm 4g63 studs. That works like a charm. There's a problem though, although all of my bottom studs were missing, that wasn't the leak. The leak si caused by a crack in the piping that the whitebread motherfucker put on my car. It's cracked close to the point where the HRC and the fab piping is welded. I'm so fucking sick of this thing, once again. Why can't anything go right????? FUCK!!!!

its nice not having a cat......i went to rapid to have them weld my pipe up and to install a flex section, and they come back whining and bitching about the fact i don't have a cat. So what? Wah wah wah, i can be fined 15000 for working on your exhaust. Your car is illegal. I don't really care. All you have to do is weld my pipe shut. I'm not asking you to mess with anything else. Why are places so touchy about not having a cat?

They are so whiny about it because they can lose their business license for working on a car with no cat. In some states, the tech who works on a car with no cat can also lose his driver's license. Stiff fines at the least are deterrants to working on non-catalyzed cars nowadays.

that's still dumb. My car, without a cat, still produces about 1/3 the smog of some big ass polluting Excursion or similar vehicle. Well, the pipe compltely fell off today and i welded it this afternoon. still need flex section, if anyone can point me to some flex section, i'd appreciate it. I can't find any in town.
