What is the quietest aftermarket exhaust that is available for our car. I would like something that looks nice, but that is not loud. I was going to get a greddy sp, but somebody said it was fairly loud. Let me know. Thanks.

The greddy EVO is nice, its not whisper quiet but its not obnoxiously loud either. I rolled here in denver with mine for 6-8 months and never got hassled by the police. Ive heard a lot of exhausts and by far the evo is my favorite.

So if I was to get an Apexi N-1, should i get the one for the GS or the one for the GS-T. And what are the pipe diameters for each.

Here's a question-

How does adding a turbo affect your exhaust volume and tone? I figure it'd be louder, with increased airflow, but then again, I dont know.

if you get the GST one the piping is bigger..therefore making it have more air..therefore making it louder..if you plan on turbo'ing your car i say buy it..i heard it sounds nice..i had a clip of it somewhere..but i'm in the computer lab..sorry!

a turbo makes it quieter b/c it sits in your exhaust stream and "plugs" it up.

You could always do what Jason did, turn your entire internediate pipe, into a row of resonators, the one that came with the exhaust and a second like 3' long one.

I say o get a custome one made, a nice good size resonator and pick a muffler you like.

the n1 is not quiet at all, with the silencer it will be, but ive heard the greddy sp/evo, thermal r&d, and a couple more, the n1 is so much louder, its not really made for being quiet. i know because my neighbors hate me, lol

I second that ^^^^ My N1 is not quiet at all (even with the turbo). It's much louder than I really wanted.

But, I have no resonator either. I have a glasspack to put in, but haven't yet.
