will putting adjustable cam gears on stock cams make a noticeable difference & can you put cams without adjustable camgears? or should i just wait and get them both at the same time?

Yes you can put cams on without putting adjustable gears in. IMO - which comes first - definately the cams.

Go with the cams first. You probably wont need adjustable gears after the cams are installed as you won't see much power gain. Most performance cams won't need really any adjusting.

Anyone have any recomendations as to which cams to get for an auto?
Also, will changing the cams effect the chance of passing emmisions?
