All right I have had my AEM cam gears for almost a year now and I never had them adjusted. Import Tuner dyno tested a 99 RS and pulled about 7 horses at the wheels now they didn’t say what settings they put them at but I think they said that Dynamic Autosports tuned them, so someone contact Import Tuner and Dynamic Autosports and find those settings.
Go to Import Tuner’s website and click on Tech.
Now get to work I have a 97 GSR to race Saturday night.

well if i remember correctly, someone here had asked them what the settings were, and came back with +6intake 0 exhaust...having played with mine some and from others on here...it seems that the general "best" setting is +4intake, 0 exhaust....from what all of us have seen adjusting the exhaust any doesn't help, so we all leave them at 0...

Thanks for the help but one more question does adjusting the cam gears hurt the engine? and what setting should I use +6 or +4 because I have stock cams not crane cams what should I go with?

Adjsuting the cam gears doesn't hurt the engine. If the bolts came loose that would be different emoji

I'd start at +4, see how the idle is (if you care about a good, non lumpy idle) and then bump it 1/2 or 1 degree to +5, then see how the idle is, ect...

Few more question will a lumpy idle hurt anything or will it just feel strange and will this effect fuel economy and what about the
+6 intake that Import Tuner had will that provide a good idle?
How much power should I expect?
What do you think I should set it at for a car with my mods and about 70k on the engine and is daily driven
By the way it is a good idea to adjust them right?
