Ok, so i'm all excited this morning cause i'm gonna do compression tests to see if I can turbo my car, have all the money for it and i'm ready to go. Since I would be taking out the spark plugs for the test, decided i'd go ahead and put some nice NGK plugs in. So I take out the plug, put in the compression hose and fire it up. Comes out wayyyyy low. I try the rest, come out normal. Well, when I took the hose out of the spark hole, the damn socket that's attacked to the end of the hose decided it wanted to stay in the hole...so it got stuck in their. Also, found out that previously the far right spark hole had to stripped to all hell. Now, I have to replace my head because of a jammed compression socket and a stripped spark hole. Also, found out my head gasket is leaking oil all over my valve....This has been a fantastic day! Anyone know how much a new head costs?? TIA. Hektik.

haha, that sucks man. I did that same shit like a year ago, but I complicated things even worst by not knowing i left the socket in there, and i screwed a spark plug into the socket, causing it to crack all the porcelan and metal and dropping onto of my piston beat that, hehe. I ended up drilling a bigger hole through the socket since it was torqued in there so tight, then pulled out out with a reverse drill bit or an easy out, dont remember. I made an attachment for my shop vac and sucked up all the gound up parts and metal shavings, filled it with oil a few times and sucked it out to make sure i got everything, and knock on wood it was ok
