#4384, "TPS or Vacume hose??"

Okay, a few days ago I posted about how my car behaves at around 80 MPH. I was playing today and if I am going 60 and floor it..it goes some nicely and then bogs down. If I let off of the gas about 10% it surges the way it was before it bogged down and the car goes like a mutha f'er. You can even hear a difference in the way the engine sounds. So I was thinking it is either the Throttle Position Sensor or one of those purple hoses that I have is crushing a WOT. I figure that it is doing it even from a stand still but it is hard to tell if it is or not. Something is defineitly wrong and maybe that is why I am losing all the races. What do you guys think? Also, am I getting any better with this car stuff?...lol See ya Rob

from what you've explained, if it was the tps, then I think the idle might be affected so is your idle ok? also you could just take out your intake pipe and check to see if the throttle plate is closing and opening all the way when at idle and wot...
