It took me a full day the first time I did mine. Just make sure you have a good jack and jackstands. A creeper is nice too. Good Luck

So the worst part is geting that far under the car right?

Is there anything major that needs to come off in order to reach the clutch? Havent looked under the car yet... Id imagine the clutch is right behind the block eh? On the rear side of the block? Seems like it shouldnt be too hard...... Well, any more pointers before this weekend will be appreciated.

It took me a couple of nights to do because we kept missing
bolts, or had a lack of tools or parts or replacement fluids.
So just be sure you have all the parts, make sure you
understand everything that you must take off, and be sure to
have another person to help. Oh and an 18mm wrench is also
helpfull. Have fun.

Um, i hope your joking. otherwise have someone else do it. I have pulled my tranny twice, it takes a full day to do usually. probably more for the first time you do it.

Fisrt.
1. take front wheels off and all of the suspension apart and pull the axels out of the transmission,
2.take all motor mounts out besides passenger one.
3. undo shiftlinkage and sensors in tranny.
4. unbolt transmission and drop it down (not as easy as it sounds).

5. reverse process after new clutch is installed.

^^^^^^some stuff he forgot...

-Drain the tranny.

-Take off battery and battery tray/supports.

-Slave cylinder and steel line right off it.

-Starter

It is going to take you at least a day the first time.

I have taken that POS tranny off six times in the last 5 weeks I've got it down to an hour and a half. (Using pneumatic tools of course)

dude I'm in the process of putting it back on now. Personally i think it would be so much easier to just take the whole engine out. since I can do that in about an hour. Took me fucken 2 hours to take the tranny off and 3 hours to put it back on. It is a biatch. have two extra buddies with you, because you will need them.
