#43660, "Speed sensor rewire (1bill - avenger)"

Following 1bill's advice I opened a new thread.

I have removed the TCU, and car works fine.
Speedo dont work.

bill: i guess i could recheck the differential area for damage, but maybe it could be the sensor.
when i was trying it out, i hooked it up to a drill and made it spin with the car running to see if it sent any signal to the ecu.
i made it spin both ways and conected the pins both ways, i'm thinking i could have damaged it.
anyway i bought a new one that is on its way, but still have this concern on the fact that there could be a problem in the tranny?
i dont care if the sensor broke, but the tranny? that could be a hell to fix right?

the sensor was fine before i installed it, so i'm guessing i screwed it up.

besides that i dont have a MT ecu yet? it doesnt matter righT?

right now the VSS is hooked up in the right sequence to the ECU, although i used a weird home made harness.

any ideas?

Looking to buy 4G63
