Is there anyone who has gone with the mods on the power upgrade stages page? If so, were the results worth it because the turbo as nice as all that horsepower must be it seems to be a headache to get all of the bugs worked out. I'd like to be enjoying driving and not under my hood everday. ie fuel system problems, slipping clutches and etc.

you might as well start out with some of the stages on the board i.e. exhaust, tb, ud pully, cheap intake. this way if you do go turbo all youve lost is the cheap intake.

I was wondering the same dam thing. I've seen some sites that say the 420a can't handle the power. That they are two different engines. I want to do the turbo thing but like you said...I don't want to be under my hood everyday. Will somebody tell me what to do or how to give my car some more power without the turbo hassle. where do I start...

there are people here who have been turboed at low boost (5psi) for a long time with no problems. then there are people who crank up the boost and race...this is where shit starts breaking if you dont know what your doing. i believe the star stage 1 is rated at 173 at the wheels(5 psi) which would put u on par with a gst. ive been reading all about turbos for months considering what to do, right now i could afford to go turbo but i couldnt afford a blown engine. im staying n/a because you never know for sure whats gonna happen.
