Hey guys, I'm going to be rebuilding my motor soon, and I was wondering what kind of pistons I should get and how much should I bore over. I dont really ever plan on going turbo so I dont really *need* forged pistons I guess. I'm looking for the least expensive solution here. I want to go with 10:5.1 compression probably. How much displacement do I get from going with a .030 or .040 overbore? is .040 safe? Where is a good place to get these pistons from besides howell (Howell is pretty espensive) Thanks in advance!!

i can get u some JE pistons pretty cheap pm me and i will hook u up,

anything al the way upto .160 over is safe as long as its done properly

u will not see a difference in displacement will u get about .060 or so if even then....

u need to either get stock pistons again and mill the head or go forged, no cast units available as of now...

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.
If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.
