When I had this code. I had just got a tune up from a local chrsler dealership. So I replaced the wires, still got misfire and CEL. So I replaced the coil pack, still got misfire and CEL. So I decide to change the plugs, but they were brand new (tuneup).

Apperently some mechanic didn't tighten the plugs in good at all and cylinder #1 would just skip and the plug would jump around. So I replaced the plugs and tighten them down correctly and no more misfire.

Hate to ask a question off the topic but where can I go to find what my error code means. It looks like this (the p meaning pause):
1p2p5p1p5p5 the #'s are the # of times it blinked in between each pause. Can someone help me out? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

well, your codes are 12 51 and 55. 12 just means you have basically disconnected power to the computer in the last 50 key turns or so, 51 means your fuel system is running lean, and 55 means end of codes. here is the link to the CEL codes http://www.2gnt.com/www/files/pcmcode.htm

i couldn't remember if you were in ga or not cyan but after reading that post, i know you are now without even having to check your profile. ga has this gay law now that says if you have a check engine light in a obd-II car you can not pass emmissions until you fix it. lucky for me, the good ole reset the ecu and go strait to the emmission station worked!!! the cel came back on right when i pulled out to leave the place. lucky me!
