i just ordered three gauges, and since i'm planning on going turbo within the next two months, i ordered a boost gauge now. is there any way i can hook up the boost gauge just to run vacuum for now? if so, which hose should i tap into?

Any vacuum source will do. There's a free port on the intake manifold(towards the passenger side) that's capped(with a rubber cap) from the factory - you could use that if you haven't already.
