I contacted MSD via email and they replyed and told me that they did not make any ignition parts for the Mitsubishi eclipse and I was just wundering about the MSD dis 2 because I have talked to a couple of people and seen in magazines where Misubishi eclipse non-turbo has the MSD dis 2 ignition box,thanks for all of your help

yes it will fit.
you should ask them if they make any ignition products for the DOHC Neon, then they will probably say yes.
the dis-2 and the programmable dis-2 will work on our cars.

which one is better the normal or the programable,I am not good with the electronic part of the sport compact scene

well both are very good ignitions. the programable kind is more expensive then the normal dis2. also the programable needs a labtop/computer to program certain things. the normal dis2 can only retard by rpm if you need retarding later for timing, but the programable kind can be done retard by rpm, boost etc. if you like messing around with stuff get the programable kind, but i think the normal dis2 is great also. remember you will need 2 tach adapters for the dis2 unit also.

sounds like i'll be goin with the normal ...lol .... two tach adapters is that for both tachs cas i'm goin to be runin a auto meter 5" tach...

That's pretty good, I can see an answer of no because the DIS-2 is a universal ignition part... but they make the coil pack that is listen as Mitsubishi Coil pack, that is the part number for us and the Neons. Plus they make plug wires.... hmm...

tach adpater part # is 8912 ( yes, you need it for either unit )
for the main dis 2 normal unit is part #6211
that should be correct but make sure
