My oil pump cover that came on the howell block isn't sealed right so I gotta take care of that tomorrow. When I take that off are there any o-rings that are gonna come with it and will the rotors just come off?? Are there any seals that i need to pull off prior to unbolting the cover?? Any help/instruction is appreciated.

are you talking about taking the actual oil pump off or just the cover on the back that is held on with the, i believe, allen head screws? it ist the latter, just take out the allen head bolts, and gently pry the cover off....the gear will stay in. id reccomend packing the gear with petroleum jelly(to prime it) and seal the cover with red engine assembly sealent upon reassembly. the only O-rings are the ones at the corner of the oilpump that face the block. the ones on mine were pink...haha. i also put a sealent called Hondabond all over the sealing surface of the oil pump that contacts the block. it works very well. www.TeamKLR.com 1997 Silver RS 12.3@118mph,20psi, race gas(drag radials) Wiseco 10.5 Pistons Eagle Rods T3/T4 Turbo Custom FMIC Greddy Exhaust 440's
