#4285, "Yeee Haaa S-AFC Installed!!!!!!!!!!1"

Woo Hoo, I just did the install on my S-AFC, no problems actually one of the most trouble free installs I've done in a while. A?/F Meter is also in.

All I need to do is find an 8x1.00 mm tap. I have 7x1.00 and 8x1.25 but no 8x1.00 then I canb insdtall the EGT and be set to go!

Cool, when you start tuning it I'm curious to see what you lean it out to. I've got mine a -7% and it's still pretty rich at WOT.

Avenger, what O2 volts were you running at -7% ???

The last time I ran with it, I didn't have a chance to datalog my O2 volts, (and I STILL don't have an EGT gauge, yea I know I should get one, I don't need the lecture emoji )

I was running -5 from 5K up to -6 at the very top (7K rpms) I THINK that was just about right, or maybe just a hair too rich, but I can't be sure (damn, need a laptop and datalogger too!)

Remember Todd every car is a little different. Depending on what mods you have done too, the adjustments will differ.

I don't know the voltage but my flashy a/f gauge is 2 leds for the green end. (I'm waiting for the digital one as we speak). Don't worry ... I don't have an EGT either ... yeah I know ... I don't need the lecture either.

Damn, I can't believe I forgot my acknowledgement section.

Thanks to:
Dave (my friend who will never read this for his help on the install)
Wyatt (great write up, and very comforting having your write up match my Chiltons before I started cuttin things and splicing into wires)
John99RS (Again nice to have the O2 wire confirmation from yoru site match my manual)

Thanks to all who helped my with my new toy.

I bought an Autometer Sport Comp 2 1/16" gauge without probe for $100. Then a westach Type K probe for like $35, and a 6 foot extension wire for like $10.
