No, that is the clutch master cylander level you are talking about. Which pushes the clutch in.

To check the car you need to get the wheel off and right above the axle is a rubber plug. With the car level, the fluid should be right at the bottom of this hole.

Yes I don't like the location of this plug it is a pain. Every other FWD car I've checked has the plug in an easy spot soyou can check it with the tire on just by turning the wheel. I can't see getting a hand in there with the tire on. End of rant

I don't understand how I'm supposed to keep the car LEVEL when I jack up one side to get the wheel off. Can I raise it, remove the wheel, and then lower it to what looks like stock height? Just a thought, oh and BTW I don't have a lift in my back yard. emoji

YOU don't have a lift in your backyard?? YOU Have to have one to belong to 2GNT emoji And with a lift, you don't have to take the wheel off.

YES, You just jack it up ,remove the wheel and then lower the car to close to level.
GOOD LUCK

Ditto, that's what I did, pulled the wheel and lowered my hydrolic jack to what I saw as level.
