#42715, "exhaust rattle?"

I instaled a new borla ss muff today. It looks and sounds good but rattles alot while driving. it is hitting the rear end. where the pipe takes a u shape. How can I fix this problem any suggestions or where to get brackets to mount it in stock position.

Did you say that it is hitting where it goes over the rear suspension? If so, I would make sure that you have the room for it to be lifted up some (and not hit your rear bumper cover) and maybe try to bend some of the hangers attached to the exhaust system just a little. or maybe try some new rubber donuts. I guess it all depends on where it is hitting.

The muffler doesn't have any hangers to bend. It is a universal.

You need to get hangers welded on or it will never stop< rattling, any muffler hsop should be able to do it.[br />
